Christchurch Quake

My heart goes out to everyone affected by the recent quake in Christchurch. Current death toll stands at 76 people with hundreds more missing and trapped under rubble. Let's hope and pray that the rescue team get to those who are still holding on soon.
It's incredibly sad what has happened. I feel so helpless at the thought that there are people trapped under twisted metals and crumbled walls just 30 minutes from where I am sat at the moment in safety. I wish there is something I can do to help but it's probably wise to leave it to professionals.

I have to count my blessing that we were delayed in going into the city on Tuesday (I was scheduled to fly back to England hours before the disaster struck) and we only experienced the weak end of the quake. Had everything gone to plan on the day, I'm sure we would have been caught out in this disaster.

Here's a picture of the cathedral I managed to capture few months ago:

If you have relatives or friends in Christchurch I hope none of them are affected :)

Hello World...

I'm still alive! I know, I miss you too.

An update soooon - just trying to tweak a few things, improve the blog before I start again and share my adventures with you...I have no knowledge of coding whatsoever so any help would be greatly appreciated!

Very very very soon,
